Designer Erkan Demiroğlu who was born in Bursa Turkey, has firstly presented his talent in amatour platforms by receiving awards from the art competitions during his first and secondary school times at Bursa.

Demiroğlu has received a first degree to study at BA Uludağ University Education Faculty’s Art department at 1992 and prefered to continue his BA degree at Tekstile Main Art after he studied one year at Art Department. During his BA degree education he received many more awards on various print and design competitions. After he graduated from his BA degree as the first successfull student of his class, he continued his graduate studies at Istanbul Marmara University, Fine Arts Academy, clothing department. He received a second place award from ITKIB Young Designers Contest at 1996 and started his professional carrier at Polo Garage brands Design department at 1997. He created both maleand female collections there for 6 years.

He founded famous Turkish fashion brand GIZIA; he has been active on the creation of brands name, logo and all unique concept. He worked at GIZIA as the head of design department for 14 years.

Demiroğlu’s fashion adventure which started at Bursa Kozahan Courtyard between silk looms, today continues with “ED” collection which he created on his behalf and leading to new horizons from the doors of Istanbul to the World.
